Employee Stress Related Absence Assessment

We will carry out a full assessment to identify if the employee is suffering from stress, anxiety or excess pressure. We will then provide the Human Resources Representative with a detailed management report. In the report we will advise you on how to manage the employee, including recommendations on:-

• If the stress anxiety or pressure is work related
• If the stress anxiety or pressure is home related
• If the stress anxiety or pressure is a combination of (a) and (b)
• The employees' fitness to return to work

• Expected return to work date
• Restrictions on employment
• Likelihood of any further absence
• Implications under the Disability Discrimination Act
• If there is a potential litigation claim against the employer as a result of work related stress anxiety or pressure

Employees should be referred to us for any of the following reasons:-

• Stress - medium and long-term absence
• Poor performance
• Substance misuse
• Self referral
