Employee Stress Related Absence Assessment
We will carry out a full assessment to identify if the employee is suffering from stress, anxiety or excess pressure. We will then provide the Human Resources Representative with a detailed management report. In the report we will advise you on how to manage the employee, including recommendations on:-
- If the stress anxiety or pressure is work related
- If the stress anxiety or pressure is home related
- If the stress anxiety or pressure is a combination of (a) and (b)
- The employees' fitness to return to work
- Expected return to work date
- Restrictions on employment
- Likelihood of any further absence
- Implications under the Disability Discrimination Act
- If there is a potential litigation claim against the employer as a result of work related stress anxiety or pressure
Employees should be referred to us for any of the following reasons:-
- Stress - medium and long-term absence
- Poor performance
- Substance misuse
- Self referral
